An interesting story about the life of a tall young woman. The author has a unique style of expression that makes the book enjoyable to read.

Being different is a subtle thing. We all are diverse and very aware of that difference that has plagued our lives forever. Until one day, we start to embrace our uniqueness, to make it part of who we are in a positive way. I just wish it didn't take so long. Victoria's journey is so relatable, even if I am not tall by any means. The author has the rare talent (pun intended) to make you laugh, meditate, and empathize. I have found myself underlining so many sentences and muttering, "Yes! That's it, that's me too!" Is it every woman? Every woman our age (since I am very close to the FMC age)? Every human being? I tend to think it is the latter, and this is one reason, aside that this is one great book, I heartily recommend reading A tall woman of many talents. You won't be disappointed!

This book is for all of us that struggled to find our identity in life full of demands. Sometimes you will laugh with the failures of Victoria, sometimes you want to wipe away her tears. It's a nice story for survival. Enjoy it!

February 5, 2024A woman's journey to find herself Every woman can re!ate to Angelina Pelova's story: it is the struggle of how women work to find themselves. She reveals how her family, her co-workers and society make her doubt her self worth by making her give in to her insecurities about herself. Will she manage to use therapy to find herself? Will maturity and life experiences resolve her issues? Her struggle is real and long. An interesting multicultural true story.

This is an incredible book that anyone, regardless of height can enjoy and maybe even learn from. It is a story about being tall, but there is so much more here. It is also a book about self discovery, resilience, and not allowing anyone to define who you are. The author leads the reader through the typical woes felt by all tall women (where can I buy pants that are actually long enough without resorting to men's department), and through the discovery that the only way others can make you feel insecure and ashamed of how your body looks is if you give them that power. I highly recommend this book.

It's a book that is humorous, passionate, relatable and friendly. Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror and wished a part of you to be different? maybe a lighter skin tone, fuller lips, or maybe gain more weight or lose some. Well everyone is perfect regardless of gender, age or colour, everyone is beautiful in their way. I liked reading this book as the author has addressed the most common issues in such an amazing way that is just applaudable. The book is written with thoughtfulness and with care. It is so relatable like how even a few words can affect anyone so deeply and the truth is we don’t even realise the pain of the other person. The book is written with passion, and all the emotions of the characters that the author has expressed are impressively written in a lucid yet charming way. The book has a perfect balance of characters, storyline, emotions, drama, struggles, reality, surroundings, life, and universe, all in detailed writing. Also, the part with the # dear diaries was impressive, clever and relatable. I definitely recommend others to read this book. Overall a truly amazing storyline

There are many reasons why I enjoyed reading the book written by Angelina Pelova, A Tall Woman of Many Talents. It's an absolute gem. It was on my TBR list until we went on a holiday. I gradually felt how much I could relate to her character. For me, it wasn't just about being the tallest girl in my town, but there were also similarities growing up in a communist country. I liked her frankness, truthfulness, and unashamed honesty. I can not recommend it enough, so please get it while you can. Might make a nice pressie

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I am in no way a tall woman. But that said, this is an incredibly well written, relatable and enjoyable read. I think we can all remember a time when we’ve felt different and/or other and this book explores those feelings in a genuine, honest, funny and sometimes sad way. There’s something in this story for everyone, so do yourself a favour and buy a copy, you won’t regret it. PS - the ending is exceptionally heartwarming.

As a 6’7” kid who was a victim of bullying, I could relate to the book’s main character. Therapy sessions made it better and gave me a positive self image after years of negative self talk and self hatred. AWESOME READ
