What is the psychological test for intelligence?
An IQ test is an assessment that measures a range of cognitive abilities and provides a score that is intended to serve as a measure of an individual's intellectual abilities and potential. IQ tests are among the most administered psychological tests.
Today, there are three intelligence tests credited to Wechsler, the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-fourth edition (WAIS-IV), the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V), and the Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence—Revised (WPPSI-III) (Wechsler, 2002).
The average intelligence quotient (IQ) is between 85 and 115. But this number can vary between countries, states, and even geographical regions. IQ stands for “intelligence quotient” and is a standard of measurement used to assess a person's mental aptitude compared to a group of their peers.
Non-verbal test of intelligence:
Non-verbal tests are of two types viz. (1) Performance tests and (2) Paper-pencil tests. Koh's Block Design Test, Alexander's Pass-along test, Merril Palmer Block Building test, Dr. Bhatia's Non-Verbal Test of Intelligence, etc.
Of the three kinds of intelligence, creative intelligence or divergent thinking is the most difficult to evaluate. There are five major components to creative intelligence: Expertise You know lots of stuff. Imaginative thinking You can recognize different patterns and arrangements and adapt your thoughts.
Intelligence Quotient (IQ) Emotional Quotient (EQ) Social Quotient (SQ) Adversity Quotient (AQ)
The Cognitive Reflection Test (CRT), also known as the world's shortest IQ test, claims it only takes three questions to tell if you're a genius.
The five indices are Verbal Comprehension, Visual Spatial, Fluid Reasoning, Working Memory, and Processing Speed. When the test is complete, individuals receive a score for each of the five indices and a Full Scale IQ score.
Let's say the individual being tested is 23 years old. The psychologist would first take the individual's IQ score and divide it by the standard of 100 for a result of 1.2. Then the psychologist would multiply the answer by the person's chronological age of 20 to get a mental age of 24.
The number actually represents how your results compare to those of other people your age. A score of 116 or more is considered above average. A score of 130 or higher signals a high IQ. Membership in Mensa, the High IQ society, includes people who score in the top 2 percent, which is usually 132 or higher.
Is intelligence Inherited?
(i) The heritability of intelligence increases from about 20% in infancy to perhaps 80% in later adulthood. (ii) Intelligence captures genetic effects on diverse cognitive and learning abilities, which correlate phenotypically about 0.30 on average but correlate genetically about 0.60 or higher.
There are different kinds of IQ tests, but most analyze your visual, mathematical and language abilities as well as your memory and information processing speed. A licensed psychologist administers a series of subtests; the results are then combined into one score: your IQ.
Generally, children with naturalistic intelligence show an inclination towards the natural world, as well as towards what human beings have created. They delve beyond superficial observations and want to go deeper and make deductions about how things function and their nature.

People smarts (or interpersonal intelligence) is the ability to perceive and respond to the moods, intentions, and feelings of other people. This includes being sensitive to facial expressions, voice, and gestures and the ability to respond effectively to those cues.
