According to studies, genetics can drive anywhere between 30-75% of the variations in people's IQ levels. However, certain environmental factors and socioeconomic status can prevent a person from achieving their true genetic potential of IQ levels.
Previous reports of the intellectual functioning of “non-impaired” physicians have suggested that the mean I.Q. of individuals with medical degrees is 125 (Matarazzo & Goldstein, 1972; Wecshler, 1972), which is considerably higher than the average performance of this cohort.
Does high intelligence look like ADHD?
ADHD can make completing tasks such as school work, homework, or work projects much more difficult. However, there is no clear link between ADHD and IQ. A person may have a high, average, or low IQ score and also have ADHD. ADHD may cause a person to interrupt in class or perform poorly on tests.
On average, introverts and extroverts are the same in terms of intelligence. But statistics show that around 70% of gifted people are introverts.
They successfully start each of their conversations with the right tone and energy. Smart people make eye contact, they pay attention to their body language, they ask smart questions, and they give compliments. They also make you laugh, they really listen, and they tell a great story.
Definitions of genius in terms of intelligence quotient (IQ) are based on research originating in the early 1900s. In 1916 the American psychologist Lewis M. Terman set the IQ for “potential genius” at 140 and above, a level exhibited by about 1 in every 250 people.
Signs of Giftedness in Children Include:

“Even if we talk to ourselves to gain control during challenging tasks, performance substantially improves when we do it out loud”, she added. In a recent tweet, Psychology Living commented that “Generally, talking to yourself is a sign of higher intelligence.
Smart folks are those who can make any topic, no matter the complexity, easy and fun for listeners to understand. They're concise when delivering their message. They sound authoritative yet warm and they have a strong and consistent verbal brand. When most people try to sound smart, they're doing it wrong.
For highly intelligent people, whilst they are most interested in finding solutions for real-life problems, they also enjoy pondering deep philosophical ideas and abstract concepts. From a young age, they have an insatiable curiosity about life; They thrive on learning.
What are the physical traits of intelligent people?
Generally, the head circumference is larger and the forehead tends to also be larger, as well as the face not being narrow. In addition to that, height also has a positive correlation, but nothing particularly strong.
What personality has the highest IQ? INTJ (Introvert, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging) type scores the highest on conceptual IQ tests among all 16 personality types.
Being intelligent has its advantages but can also bring unique problems that only smart people face. From overthinking every situation to struggling with social anxiety, perfectionism, or loneliness – the list of issues that come along with higher levels of intelligence is long.
They fashion mindsets that are curious, passionate, fearless, imaginative, resilient, contrarian, and aggressive in seeking situational advantage. And perhaps most important, their lifestyle includes a habit for work. Not only for doing work, but how the work gets done. Of course, geniuses work hard.
