Some common synonyms of adept are expert, proficient, skilled, and skillful. While all these words mean "having great knowledge and experience in a trade or profession," adept implies special aptitude as well as proficiency.
Try the adjective adept! In the days of Medieval Latin, an adeptus was a person who had learned the secrets of alchemy. Although an adept person today cannot turn lead into gold, the adjective is still high praise meaning "skilled, expert, highly proficient."

Those who practice esoteric arts such as theurgy and Kabbalah are familiar with the word 'adept. ' In the traditions of esoteric Christianity and ceremonial magic, an adept is one who is skilled or profound, but not a master in these arts.
Proficient, adept, skillful, and expert are all synonyms, but subtle differences can be discerned between these terms as well. Proficient usually describes pure ability that comes from training and practice ("a proficient writer"). Adept suggests an innate ability as well as a learned skill ("an adept card player").
As a pure class, Adepts are masters and specialists in biotics. This is reflected in their core skillset, which consists almost exclusively of biotic powers. These abilities are Singularity, Pull, Throw, Shockwave, and Warp.
Adept suggests an innate ability as well as a learned skill ("an adept card player"). Skillful suggests being very able at a particular task ("a skillful surgeon"). Expert suggests having a thorough knowledge of a subject as well as being very skillful at working in it ("expert in the martial arts").

What is an adept woman?
: a highly skilled or well-trained individual : expert.
Socially adept people often possess a deep understanding of nonverbal communication, such as body language, facial expressions, and tone of voice. They are skilled at reading social cues and adapting their behavior accordingly.
In order to become socially adept, you have to be empathetic. Instead of always making things about you, put yourself in other people's situations. Try to consider where they're coming from. The thing is, you just have no idea what's going on in people's lives.
Someone who is exceptionally skilled and successful at many different activities or endeavors is often referred to as a "polymath," "renaissance person," or "jack-of-all-trades." These terms are used to describe individuals who possess a wide range of talents and excel in multiple areas of knowledge or expertise.
Interpersonal skills (also called employability skills, social skills, people skills, or soft skills) are what you use to understand, communicate, interact, and relate with other people. These encompass a broad array of verbal and nonverbal skills like collaboration, negotiation, teamwork, and problem-solving.

How do you get Adept?
Acquiring Adept weapons requires you to either complete a Flawless card in Trials of Osiris, complete Grandmaster Nightfalls, or complete Master mode challenges in either the Vault of Glass or Vow of the Disciple raids.
The main distinguishing feature is the ability to use Adept Mods, which significantly increase a specific weapon stat, such as Handling or Range. Also, when masterworking a weapon, you get additional points to all of your weapon's stats, not just the one in the masterwork slot.
So long as your card was, at one point, a 7 win flawless card, any future wins have a chance of awarding an adept weapon. The chance is much lower after losing the flawless status. It's been like this since the start of the season iirc.
having a natural ability to do something that needs skill: She's very adept at dealing with the media. Tamsin Palmer gave a technically adept performance on the piano. Synonyms. expert.
